Severe Wildfires: A Climate-Health Emergency (Dec 12, 2018)
Experts speak to and answer questions on the climate-health effects of the recent fires that affected California. The event was co-sponsored by the Human Health + Climate Change student group, and took place at Parnassus Medical Science Building S214. A recording is available here to view.
Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution (Oct 23-24, 2018)
We teamed up with UCSF Library to host two free screenings of the new HBO and Redford Center documentary, featured at the 2018 SF Green Film Festival. Filmmaker James Redford embarks on a colorful personal journey into the dawn of the clean energy era as it creates jobs, turns profits, and makes communities stronger and healthier across the US. The film was followed by an interactive panel discussion with UCSF Sustainability Director, UCSF Energy Analysts, and California Green Business representatives.
